We have many of our employees on skype, and were finding it hard to find a basic usb skype phone – many on the market are dual or wireless and cost more.
I’m really happy with the purchase and will probably buy more in the future.
It would be nice if it was cordless.

This little phone is absolutely brilliant! The sound quallity is excellent and its very easy to use once you’ve set it up, the installation process is very simple and quick but if you use Vista Ultimate, you will need to install an updated driver but the installed software has its own “update button” that takes you staight to the maker’s website to download the driver!
All in all a brilliant bit of kit and amazing value for money, plus it arrived 3 days before the delivery estimate and I live on a small island!!!
BUY IT!

There are a few fundamental problems with microphone headsets that Skype users have: they look dorkish; they are uncomfortable and ill-fitting; they tie you to the computer; and they are far from compact, taking up too much space when not in use.
Something like a home phone would be useful. Small, easy to dial, feels like you are just using a phone.
Something a little like this wonderful product.
There is another option – full wireless handsets. Effectively these are just like your home cordless phone but link to your computer and use Skype. They cost £70-100 and are only worth it if you like to wander around the house while on the phone, and use Skype a lot.
Otherwise, try a wired handset like this one.
It comes with some software to fully link it to Skype, so you can scroll through your contact list and can make and receive calls without having to use the keyboard at all. The cable is long enough to use it across the room from the computer, and installation is very easy. Call quality is great, unless Skype is being
I never liked using Skype, although I never fully realised how much of that was down to the lame headset. This handset (and several very similar products) make internet telephony a far more palatable proposition. You should buy one today.
Five stars.

There are a wide variety of skype phones on the market, but I just wanted something that was basic and worked as I am not constantly using this everyday, just when I want to speak to people. I chose this product as it looked simple to work and straight forward to set up. I have to report that it was. 5 minutes after opening the packaging it was working with Skype. I am a windows 7 user and did not experience any compatibility issues (even thought I had read on other forums that there were). When the phone is plugged in it overrides your computers speakers, but just unplug it and it reverts to normal.
