This is really the best Skype phone I’ve ever used. The phone is very well made and very stylish. It’s also much smaller then it looks in the pictures, but is a very comfortable size to hold. The buttons on it are tactile and clearly labeled, and well placed throughout the phone. It took me 2 minutes to learn all the functions of the phone just by playing about with it, a true testiment to it’s design quality.
Sound qualitiy is as good as it gets really, phone conversations are clear and the volume goes up very loud. It does lack speaker phone function, although the same functionality can be achieved by using seperate speakers, as you can set in the phones settings which microphone and speakers to use for Skype.
The software is fantastic, being stable and fully featured. It works well on both PC and Mac, with the Mac software being slighly less well featured, but it’s still in beta, so I expect the final version to have as many features as the Windows version.
All-in-all, a great phone at a great price (£25 when I got it). My only peeve is that it’s $29 in America, which is around £16.

Apart from the branding, this is like a Bang & Olufsen
USB VoIP phone. Novelty design, easy to install and use. No need to install OS drivers and works with many Internet talk software i.e. SKYPE, ICQ, MSN, Google Talk, etc. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed with this buy.

i got two phones, in black and in white. one for my 60 year old mother and one for me. she’s uses windows pc and is not computer savvy, she loves the phone because it intergrates well with skype and is really easy to use. she’s chatting all the time on it now.
i own a Mac using OS X and had to download the beta driver software from the ipevo website. it works well but doesn’t have the same cool features as the windows PC version. i guess its still a beta. though it scrolls my contacts fine.
it has no Linux driver available. so thats a shame because you can get skype for linux now.
the best thing about the phone is:
- the design (looks better in real life than on photos)
- excellent sound quality.
- ease of use.
what more could you ask for in a phone.

Does not upset your PC like some Skype phones do.
