An extreamly waterproof and rugged phone.
The noise cancellation is very impressive.
Making a call while walking along a very busy road
and my wife at the other end of the call could not hear the traffic noise at all!
Great Phone although not the lightest phone I have owned.

My means of transport is a scooter, ridden in all weathers. I also have a horse. Both of these entail mud, wet & vibrations. I once had a lovely, rubberised phone, but that eventually died. I saw the Samsung Solid tested (to destruction) on the Gadget Show, and thought that was ideal for me. I was unable to get one of those, but then saw this one. The same, but better. Very smart looking, automatic key pad lock (a little TOO quickly, sometimes) and tough. Haven’t dropped it in the mud yet, but feel safe in the knowledge that it would survive. Feels good in the hand. I don’t use the internet connection (I’ve got a computer for that) and I have a camera for pictures.
The only crticism I have is the rubbish ringtones available, and the lack of automatic selection in the phonebook (where you press a key and it jumps to names with those letters). I look forward to having this phone for a looong time.

I have been using the phone for 3 weeks and am very pleased with it. Fairly easy to use, I only wanted it for calls and texts so cannot comment on all its features. Still in an as new condition which is pretty good as I am a heavy plant engineer. I dont know where the supplier gets these phones from but mine differs from a colleagues. In the applications menu, number 1 is Mobile prayer, which gives you a choice of Christian prayers, Hindu Prarthana, Islamic Salat and Sikh Gurbani, a bit like an alarm clock playing your selected sung prayer, very useful ! My employer has started supplying these as the works phones, the previous Nokia’s not up to the tough life. Overall if you need a simple robust phone I would recommend it.
