A stylish good value if a little qwerky phone which despite a few ‘it’s-easy-if-you-know-how type problems I do actually like. I found it helpful to check out the demos for this on Youtube before I bought it and I would recommend potential buyers also do this as this is the marmite of mobiles. The keys down the side take a bit of getting used to and it is often just as easy to slide open the qwerty keypad which opens up a blank text message ready to roll. I like that there are two ways to access the extra symbols (via the ‘?’ key or by pressing ‘Alt’ then the relevant querty key) and I love the funky default font. I like the quick access icons for online social applications etc. The biggest irritation with this phone were the weeks driving the whole family nuts with the choice of two key tones (beep or old typewriter-style click) it is incredibly hard to resolve this so here goes: Menu|Settings|Phone profiles|Normal(or your choice)|Options|Edit|Select the last tab =’ Phone sounds’|Scroll down to ‘Phone sound volume’ and switch it to ‘Off’. This is not in the manual but may be vital to your sanity – A big thank you to my son for this! If you want alot of style and features for your money then go for it, it is a nice little phone IMHO.
