Excellent product. Have installed three units where there was no signal in the house or building. All now have 4-5 bar signal strength. They are very easy to install. We have found by installing the aerial outside the property gives the best signal strength mainly because of the extra height we can obtain. This repeater is easy to install. I was expecting a flat external aerial as the literature suggests that is what you get in Europe, but it came with a yagi aerial. For simplicity I installed the external aerial in the loft, and to hide the wiring I fitted the internal antenna in a cupboard, so the system is totally hide. Yet it still produces great performance, 2-3 out of 4 bars everywhere in the house up to 35 feet away from antenna, and through several hollow internal walls. I highly recommend this repeater.

My iPhone has no signal at my work, a modern metal structure with very lightweight walls. I plugged this in and went from No Signal to 5 bars instantly across most of the building. the signal range is much larger than the 5m described – more like 15m in this building. Both O2 and Orange signals are very weak in the building, with this Repeater the signal is excellent on both networks.

The GSM 900 Mini, has a very poor range internally, you will be lucky if you get a signal above 5mtrs away through one standard 4″ brick internal wall.
Technical support were very helpful, the final conclusion they came up with for its poor performance was that the external receiving antenna may need turning more towards the Vodafone transmitter, we have tried this to no avail. But it does work if you are within 3mtrs and stood next to it I can get full 5 bars signal on our mobile phones, be aware this model will only work on Vodafone and O2, I can only assume that T Mobile is a diferent frequency.

This product was more cumbersome than I had anticipated, consisting of an aerial (like a TV roof aerial) + a length of coaxial cable which attaches to the booster box which in turn is plugged in to a mains socket.
I live in a 3 storey house and my mobile phone (02) signal is now much better on the top floor where I’ve located the aerial and booster box. It’s a bit better than before on the middle floor, whilst on the ground floor there is very little improvement on pre-booster reception. I guess the results of using this signal booster will vary according to a number of factors relating to things like:- where you’re located in relation to a mobile phone mast… the structure and layout of your house etc.etc.
